Larry O’Keefe is the owner and founder of LJ OKeefe, Inc.
With over 30 years of experience in engineering, product development, manufacturing management, and Lean Manufacturing, he has facilitated lean transformations across
the United States and Europe.

Mentored in lean consulting by the experts from the Toyota Supplier Support Center (TSSC) in Japan, Larry is an operations executive and seasoned lean manufacturing consultant with an in-depth working knowledge of how to coach, teach and apply the tools and philosophies of lean manufacturing. Over the years, he has found that while popular, methodologies like Six Sigma often fail to deliver the promised results and don't follow true lean processes. While more than 70 percent of global manufacturing companies have a Lean program, very few are able to effectively leverage it to create a competitive advantage.

Larry received a Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) and Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from Western Michigan University. He holds several patents and enjoys sharing his knowledge as a frequent speaker at industry events, like IWF Atlanta.
Over the years Larry’s work has been highlighted in several published works. Notable mentions include Merchants of Virtue (Birchard, 2011), and by President and CEO of Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, Atsushi Niimi, at high profile speaking engagements.
